President, Acquisitions & Development
As President of MCAP, Alex plays an integral role in executing the firm's acquisitions and project development and is responsible for overseeing all of the new multifamily high-rise & hospitality projects in the firm's development pipeline. In accordance, Alex diligences every new realty investment at each stage of its life-cycle, leading the initial financial modeling, land-use planning and conceptual design through to entitlement, value engineering, construction bidding and eventual asset stabilization for over 1,000 units of housing & hotel across Southern California. Alex has garnered a track record of consistently executing creative strategies across diverse asset classes with his strong background in real estate, finance and conceptual design. In addition to his position at MCAP, Alex is currently a board member of the Central Hollywood Council, the Vice-Chair of the PLUM Committee, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Business Improvement Districts for the Media, Eastern & Entertainment Regions. Prior to joining MCAP, Alex honed his expertise in finance and real estate as a summer analyst at both Lazard Frerès & Co and Kingdon Capital Management.
Alex graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Real Estate & Finance, was a Joseph Wharton Scholar as well as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma
